01Will the 62 fit my BBb sousaphone?
It uses a standard tuba shank, so it fits most BBb tubas and sousaphones. Check your receiver for the shank taper first, since some older instruments differ.
02How is the 62 different from the Helleberg SH?
Nearly the same cup diameter, 1.254" versus 1.253". The SH uses a different rim contour and gives a clearer, darker sound. The 62 stays more centered and even.
03Is gold plating worth it over silver?
It feels smoother and warmer against the lips and will not tarnish. Tone difference is minimal. Choose it for comfort, not sound.
