It fits a 13-inch snare as a batter and will handle heavy hitting, though it responds less to light ghost notes than a thinner head.
03Do I need moongel with this head?
Usually not. The second ply already cuts overtones. Add damping only if the drum still rings more than you want.
04Does this replace both tom heads?
No. One head is included. To do a full change you also need a resonant head for the bottom of the drum.
