Independent shopping perspective
PRS builds the right-handed SE NF3 around a poplar solidbody, bolt-on maple neck, and three Narrowfield DD “S” pickups. Their deep-dish bobbin design and mixed magnet/steel pole pieces are intended to retain focused note definition, tight lows, and high-end shimmer. The Wide Thin neck profile, maple fretboard, 10-inch radius, and 22 frets support bending, vibrato, rhythm work, and lead playing. A PRS patented tremolo adds pitch control to the guitar’s six-string layout.
