Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The SE CE24 Standard Stoptail is a fixed-bridge electric guitar with a solid mahogany body in a Vintage Cherry satin finish. Its bolt-on maple neck and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard provide the playing platform, while two PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers cover humbucker sounds and coil-split single-coil options through the push/pull master tone control. A three-way toggle keeps pickup selection simple. The PRS stoptail bridge uses brass inserts, and the included gig bag supports taking it between practice, rehearsal, and gigs.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Players who prefer a fixed PRS stoptail bridge for simpler string changes and setup.
- Rehearsal and gigging musicians needing humbucker voices plus coil-split single-coil options.
- Lead and rhythm work that benefits from a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who require a tremolo bridge, as this model uses a PRS stoptail.
- Left-handed players, because this guitar is right-handed.
