Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
PRS Private Stock #10978 is a right-handed McCarty 594 Singlecut with a Desert Sands quilted maple top over a swamp ash body, a curly maple neck and matching fingerboard. Its two covered 58/15 LT humbuckers are voiced for low-output clarity, warmth, and response to changes in attack. Separate volume controls, two push/pull tone controls, and a three-way toggle give you full humbucking voices plus individually split-coil options without changing the basic layout. A brown paisley case with burgundy interior accompanies the guitar.
