No. It is sized for a hard rubber alto body, which is thicker than metal. On metal it sits loose and the reed shifts.
02Does a ligature change my sound?
Not meaningfully at this level. Its job is holding the reed flat against the table. Reed and mouthpiece do the tonal work.
03Does it come with a mouthpiece cap?
No. Ligature only. Buy a cap separately if you want the reed protected in the case.
04Which way does it go on?
Screws on the side opposite the reed on most setups, band slipped over the tip end and slid back before the reed goes in.
