Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Martin’s Custom Shop 42 Style pairs a 000 auditorium body with a certified European spruce top and English walnut back and sides. The combination is described with clear, dynamic response, warm overtones, and airy resonance for detailed fingerstyle lines and open chords. Scalloped X-bracing supports projection and sustain, while the modified low oval mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard provide the playing platform. Flame maple binding, long snowflake inlays, gold Grover tuners, and a natural gloss finish give the instrument its formal visual character.
Strong match
