Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Ibanez’s Japan-made Prestige RG5120M combines an ash top over an African mahogany body with a five-piece maple/wenge Super Wizard neck and birdseye maple fingerboard. Its active Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers use a Voicing switch to move between a modern, high-output active sound and a crisp, clean, fluid sound. The five-way switch expands pickup selection, while the Lo-Pro Edge bridge uses a streamlined profile, recessed fine-tuners, and a locking nut. A hardshell case is included.
Strong match
Who this is for

- Work requiring visible side markers, with Made-in-Japan Luminlay side dots along the fingerboard.
Consider the trade-offs
