Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Gretsch's Cerulean Smoke Falcon is a large-format hollowbody electric built with a 17-inch laminated maple body and Arc-Tone bracing. Its two PRO-FT Filter'Tron pickups are managed by individual pickup volumes, master volume, master tone, and a three-position toggle, giving you a direct way to change pickup selection and balance. The Bigsby B6 String-Thru tailpiece adds vibrato control, while the Adjusto-Matic bridge, ebony fingerboard, and included 17-inch Deluxe hollowbody hardshell case round out the package.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Moving between neck, bridge, and combined pickup settings during a set.
- Adding subtle shimmer or more pronounced pitch bends with the Bigsby tailpiece.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players specifically seeking a solid-body electric guitar.
- Players looking for a smaller hollowbody than the Falcon's 17-inch body.
