Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Black Falcon pairs a 17-inch laminated maple hollowbody and Arc-Tone bracing with two PRO-FT Filter'Tron pickups. Its controls give each pickup its own volume, then add master volume and master tone, so you can establish a pickup balance and alter the full guitar level separately. Select neck, bridge, or both with the three-position toggle. A Bigsby B6 String-Thru tailpiece, Adjusto-Matic bridge, and ebony fingerboard define the core setup; a Deluxe 17-inch hollowbody hardshell case is included.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Creating neck, bridge, or combined-pickup parts with the three-position selector.
- Adjusting pickup balance separately from the guitar's overall volume.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players specifically seeking a solid-body electric guitar.
- Players looking for a smaller hollowbody than the Falcon's 17-inch body.
