Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Gold Tone’s PBS pairs a mahogany build with a Paul Beard open soundwell, genuine Beard cone and spider, and a maple bridge with an ebony insert. It is a six-string squareneck resonator in GBDGBD tuning, with 19 frets across a 25-inch scale. The high-gloss tobacco sunburst finish, white celluloid binding, chrome-plated hardware, and metal-button tuners give it a defined stage-ready appearance.
