Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built for left-handed resonator players who want an eight-string squareneck layout, the PBS-8/L pairs a mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Its Paul Beard resonator cone and spider bridge are described as providing projection and sustain. The extra two strings expand the available chord and solo options, while the flat, wide neck supports double and triple stops along with slides, pull-offs, and hammer-ons. It arrives in a hardshell case.
Strong match
Who this is for

- Working through double stops, triple stops, slides, pull-offs, and hammer-ons on a squareneck instrument.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
