Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Gibson’s Les Paul Standard ’50s P-90 uses a solid mahogany body capped with maple, paired with a rounded ’50s-style mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Two Alnico V P-90 single-coils cover neck, bridge and combined-pickup settings through a three-way selector. Handwired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors sit behind separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, so you can shape either voice independently. The Tobacco Burst model is finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and includes a hardshell case.
