Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around the Les Paul single-cut outline, this Modern Figured pairs a lighter-weight mahogany body and figured AAA maple cap with a fast asymmetrical SlimTaper neck. Its Burstbucker Pro humbuckers are joined by push/pull controls for coil tapping, pure bypass, and phase switching, giving players several pickup-routing options from the four-control layout. The contoured heel and 10–16-inch compound-radius ebony fingerboard support lower-position chords as well as work higher on the neck.
Strong match
Who this is for

- Players who want coil tapping, pure bypass, and phase switching from a dual-humbucker Les Paul.
- Parts that move between open chords, blues lines, technical riffs, and higher-register solos.
