Detail 01
Dual soapbar P-90 pickups
The two pickups work with a three-way selector and can be adjusted from smoother sounds to gain-driven growl.

Independent shopping perspective
Built around the 1954 Goldtop formula, this Gibson Custom reissue combines a mahogany body, two-piece maple top and a pair of soapbar P-90s. The Heavy Aged Murphy Lab treatment adds lacquer checking, pick wear, peghead scratches and back wear, while softened binding contributes to its played-in presentation. A chunky C mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, three-way switching and wraparound bridge/tailpiece keep the layout focused on the period design.
