Gibson'80s Explorer Electric Guitar Ebony
Product overview
About this model
The Gibson '80s Explorer Electric Guitar, a stunning recreation of the legendary 1984 model. Its aggressively styled mahogany body and powerful pickups define the era that shaped rock and roll. The fast-playing SlimTaper mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard make soloing and complex chords effortless. Iconic '80s Styling and Sound The Explorer's futuristic shape and tone solidified its status as an '80s icon. Dual high-output uncovered '80s Tribute Humbuckers provide a fat, punchy sound with rich sustain. The pickguard-less mahogany body is all attitude and ready to rock. Fast, Comfortable Neck The Gibson '80s Explorer's SlimTaper neck profile and 12" radius rosewood fretboard allow for fast, precise playing across all 22 frets. Medium jumbo frets make bending and vibrato smooth and easy. Road-Ready Hardware A rock-solid Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge provides stable tuning and intonation. High-quality Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners keep the guitar in tune through the most aggressive playing. Premium Protection A hardshell case is included to properly protect your investment. Molded to fit the iconic Explorer shape, the case keeps the guitar safe from dings, dents and the elements.
