The Korena take
Two different pickup voices define the Double Custom Esquire: a Custom Shop hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90 Dog Ear at the neck. A 3-position blade switch, master volume, and master tone keep the control layout direct. The right-handed Telecaster-style guitar combines a 2-piece roasted alder body with a maple neck, 3A rosewood fingerboard, 21 Jescar vintage frets, and a 3-saddle '67 Telecaster bridge with threaded steel saddles.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Players wanting a direct three-way guitar layout with a Nocaster bridge pickup and neck P90.
- Studio or stage setups that use separate master-volume and master-tone controls on a Telecaster-style guitar.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; the listed orientation is right handed.
- Players requiring more than the specified 21 frets.
