Independent shopping perspective
Built around the Precision Bass format, this American Ultra II model combines a sculpted select alder body with a quartersawn maple Modern D neck and maple compound-radius fingerboard. Its two noiseless pickups can be blended with the pan control, while the S-1 switch provides active or passive operation. In active mode, stacked controls and the selectable midrange frequency give you hands-on control of bass, treble, and mids. It is a 34-inch, 21-fret right-handed bass supplied with a deluxe molded case.
