What matters in use

The specifications, translated

Catalog numbers tell only part of the story. These are the details most likely to change how this product feels, sounds, or fits into a setup.

Detail 01

Mono (TS) wiring

Two lugs: tip and sleeve. Won't carry a stereo signal or a TRS insert/effects loop connection.

Detail 02

Chrome finish

Matches standard amp hardware. Cosmetic on the visible nut and washer, not a tonal or durability factor.

Detail 03

1/4" format

Standard instrument-cable size. Accepts any normal guitar or bass cable plug.

Detail 04

Panel-mount design

Mounts through a drilled chassis hole with a nut. Not a drop-in replacement for guitar-body jacks.

Final check

Know before you order

  1. 01Soldering required; no wire, cable, or hookup leads included
  2. 02Unplug the amp and let filter caps drain before opening the chassis
  3. 03Measure your existing hole and jack depth — panel jacks vary in size

Product questions

Before you decide

Straight answers to the questions shoppers most often ask about this product.

01Will this work as a guitar output jack?

It's a panel-mount amp jack, not the barrel type most guitars use. It only fits a guitar if the body has a flat jack plate and enough depth.

02Is this switched?

It's a mono jack, so it carries tip and sleeve only. If your amp uses a switching jack to mute or reroute when unplugged, this won't replicate that.

03Do I need to solder?

Yes. The existing wires desolder from the old jack and reattach to the new one. Amps carry stored voltage, so discharge before working.

04Fender amps only?

No. It's a standard 1/4" panel jack and fits most amps with a matching chassis hole, regardless of brand.
