EVH5150 Iconic Series 6L6 15W Tube Guitar Amp Head - Ivory

Designed to deliver the aggression, harmonic saturation and immediate response of the 5150 platform at more manageable levels, the EVH 5150 Iconic Series 6L6 15W head packs an expansive high-gain arsenal into a focused tube head for stage, studio and home. Two channels provide dedicated Gain and Volume controls, with Overdrive expanding the Green channel from clean sounds into driven crunch and Burn pushing the Red channel beyond its core Lead voice into deeper saturation and sustain. A 15W power section driven by a single 6L6 delivers punch and dynamic tube response, while quarter-power operation makes it easier to explore those sounds at reduced output levels. Shared three-band EQ, Presence, Resonance and reverb provide broad tonal control, while a footswitchable 6dB boost adds another performance option. Complete with a speaker-emulated XLR output, Power Amp Mute, effects loop and flexible speaker connectivity, the 5150 Iconic 6L6 15W brings serious tonal range and modern utility to a remarkably compact EVH head. Two Channels and Dual Gain Modes for Expansive 5150 Tone The 5150 Iconic 6L6 15W builds substantial tonal range around two purpose-built channels, each equipped with independent Gain and Volume controls for balancing drive and output between sounds. The Green channel provides the cleaner side of the amp, with its Overdrive switch adding gain for everything from pushed textures to muscular crunch. The Red channel starts with the saturated Lead voice at the heart of the 5150 experience, while Burn adds another level of gain for thicker saturation, sustain and harmonic intensity. An included two-button footswitch provides hands-free access to channel switching and a 6dB boost, giving players additional flexibility for moving between rhythm, lead and boosted sounds without returning to the control panel. 15W 6L6 Power With Quarter-Power Flexibility A single 6L6 power tube gives the 5150 Iconic 15W its punchy, responsive output character, delivering 15 watts of tube power with enough authority for recording, rehearsal and a range of performance setups. A quarter-power switch reduces the amp's output and headroom for situations where full power isn't necessary, making driven tones more practical for home playing and studio sessions. Shared Bass, Middle and Treble controls provide familiar core EQ shaping across both channels, while Presence adjusts upper-frequency bite and immediacy and Resonance fine-tunes low-end depth and impact. Global reverb adds ambience across the amp's clean and driven voices, rounding out a straightforward but flexible set of tone-shaping controls. Speaker-Emulated XLR Output for Flexible Recording and Performance The 5150 Iconic 6L6 15W is equipped to move easily between conventional speaker rigs and modern direct setups. A speaker-emulated XLR output provides a convenient connection to recording equipment or a PA system, while Power Amp Mute adds flexibility for direct and reduced-volume workflows. A Preamp Out expands integration options with external equipment, and an effects loop provides a dedicated path for delays, reverbs, modulation and other effects after the amp's gain-heavy preamp stages. Two parallel 1/4" speaker jacks with selectable 4-, 8- or 16-ohm impedance accommodate a wide range of compatible cabinets, giving the compact head the connectivity to adapt to home, studio and live rigs. Full-Scale 5150 Versatility in a Compact 15W Head The EVH 5150 Iconic Series 6L6 15W tube guitar amp head brings the depth and flexibility of the 5150 approach to a power format suited to a wider range of playing environments. Its Clean/Overdrive and Lead/Burn architecture covers everything from articulate cleans and driven rhythm tones to saturated high gain, while the 6L6 power section and detailed response controls keep those sounds punchy and defined. Quarter-power operation extends that versatility to lower-volume sessions, and comprehensive direct, effects and speaker connectivity makes the amp equally comfortable at the center of a recording setup or conventional guitar rig. Compact without stripping away the controls and gain range that define the experience, the 5150 Iconic 6L6 15W is a focused high-gain workhorse built for wherever players need serious EVH tone.
