Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The LTD MH-400HT is a 25.5-inch-scale, set-thru electric guitar made for controlled high-gain playing without a tremolo system. Its mahogany body carries an arched quilted maple top, while the extra-thin U three-piece maple neck extends into the body for access at the upper frets. The active EMG 81 bridge and EMG 85 neck pairing handles focused rhythm work and fuller lead phrasing. An LTD fixed string-through-body bridge and locking tuners keep the hardware centered on stable, direct operation.
Strong match
Who this is for
- High-gain rhythm and lead work needing the EMG 81/85 active pickup pairing.
- Players who want a fixed string-through-body bridge instead of a tremolo system.
- Extended lead work that benefits from the guitar’s set-thru upper-fret transition.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players seeking a tremolo bridge; the MH-400HT uses an LTD fixed string-through-body bridge.
