EpiphoneSG Tribute Plus Electric Guitar - Vintage Sunburst

Defined by its lightweight feel and unmistakable double-cutaway style, the Epiphone SG Tribute Plus electric guitar channels vintage energy with modern reliability for players ready to advance their sound. A solid mahogany body topped with flame maple veneer gives it rich sustain and stage-ready appeal, while the bolt-on mahogany neck and '60s SlimTaper Rounded C profile make fast passages and smooth chord transitions effortless. Dual Epiphone humbuckers—a 650R in the neck and 700T in the bridge—deliver punchy, full-bodied tone with ceramic magnet clarity. A LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece add sustain and tuning stability, and nickel-plated hardware ensures durability through long sessions. Finished with bound laurel fingerboard and medium-jumbo frets, the SG Tribute Plus offers expressive tone, dependable performance and the classic SG attitude that inspires growth with every note. Dual Epiphone Humbuckers With Ceramic Magnets for Focused Output The SG Tribute Plus' pair of Epiphone humbucker pickups—the 650R neck and 700T bridge—feature ceramic magnets designed to increase output and cut through a mix. Each pickup produces strong lows and sharp highs, helping chords and lead lines stay clear even with heavy distortion. The result is a sound that feels punchy and full, giving every riff or solo the presence it needs for live shows or home recording. Control Layout Streamlines Tone Adjustments This SG Tribute Plus leverages a familiar four-knob configuration: two for volume and two for tone. Each knob responds smoothly, letting you change your sound quickly between songs or while practicing. The layout keeps controls easy to reach without crowding the playing space, so you can focus on technique and creative tone shaping. The simple wiring helps maintain a clean signal path, resulting in reliable sound every time you plug in. Mahogany Construction and Bound Fingerboard Enhance Playability Built from solid mahogany, the body and neck deliver rich sustain and a full, resonant character. The bound laurel fingerboard provides smooth playability and long-lasting durability, while medium-jumbo frets support precision in both rhythm and lead playing. The flame maple veneer top and nickel hardware complete a look that’s both modern and unmistakably vintage. LockTone Bridge and Tailpiece Improve Sustain and Tuning The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece anchor the strings and enhance resonance. This hardware setup holds tuning well, even with energetic playing. String changes and intonation adjustments are straightforward, so you spend less time setting up and more time playing. The fixed bridge design also increases sustain for longer, richer notes during solos and rhythm work. What's New for the Tribute Plus? The Epiphone SG Tribute Plus builds on the standard SG Tribute with upgraded aesthetics, hardware, and comfort-driven refinements. It adds a flame maple veneer top with single-ply binding on the fretboard, along with pearloid trapezoid inlays that replace the basic dot markers. The neck features the same '60s SlimTaper Rounded C profile but incorporates a tapered heel joint for improved upper-fret access. The Tribute Plus also includes a '60s Kalamazoo-style headstock, upgraded die-cast tuners and zebra-coil 650R and 700T humbuckers under nickel covers for enhanced tone and vintage-inspired looks. With its refined detailing, sculpted feel and expanded finish options, the SG Tribute Plus delivers a more premium playing experience while maintaining the accessibility and classic style that define the original Tribute.
