Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Delta Blue Metallic Emperor Swingster is a maple hollowbody with two SwingBucker pickups and a control layout suited to active adjustment. Each pickup receives its own volume and tone controls, and the push/pull volume knobs change that pickup between series and parallel operation. Together with the 3-way selector, that creates multiple pickup choices before reaching for the licensed Bigsby vibrato. Its mahogany SlimTaper neck and Indian laurel fingerboard round out a right-handed, six-string design aimed across jazz, blues, rockabilly, country, and rock.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Stage sets that require different pickup combinations across jazz, blues, rockabilly, country, and rock songs.
- Players who adjust individual pickup levels and tones instead of relying on one shared control set.
- Using the Bigsby vibrato with a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge mounted to a pinned wooden base.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this is a right-handed six-string guitar.
- Players seeking a solidbody design rather than a single-cutaway hollowbody.
