Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
In Ebony, the Les Paul Modern Pro combines a gloss mahogany body and maple top with nickel hardware and cream binding. Its two Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers work with a 3-way toggle, separate volume and tone controls, push/pull coil splitting and a phase switch. For a player building different parts at rehearsal, in the studio or onstage, that places the guitar’s listed switching options at the controls. The mahogany ’60s SlimTaper C set neck, rosewood fingerboard, 12-inch radius and 22 frets round out the playing platform.
