02Will the 5AL fit my trombone?
Only if your horn has a large shank receiver, which means large bore tenor or bass. Small bore tenors need a small shank mouthpiece.
03How does the 5AL differ from the 5BL?
Both share a 25.73mm cup and 6.64mm rim. The 5AL has a wider 7.30mm throat and barrel backbore for projection; the 5BL runs 6.87mm with a medium backbore for a freer high register.
04Silver or gold plating — does it change the sound?
