Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Katana Gen 3 head puts 100W of Katana amplification into a compact head format, with a built-in 5-inch speaker for practicing, checking tones, and recording without connecting an external cabinet. Its six amp characters and Variation control provide 12 tone options, including Pushed for touch-responsive edge-of-breakup gain. Bloom adds a dedicated voicing option for sharper attack and richer low end. Send/Return, Power Amp In, Stereo Expand, USB-C, line out, and headphones connections support a flexible recording or performance rig.
