Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a 100W output and one custom 12-inch speaker, the Katana Gen 3 gives a guitarist a broad, recallable amp-and-effects setup in one combo. Six amp characters, each with a Variation option, cover 12 tone choices, including Pushed for edge-of-breakup work. Dedicated booster, modulation, FX, delay, and reverb controls keep adjustments on the panel, while eight Tone Setting memories let you move between saved sounds during a set. Power Control also makes lower-output settings available.
