Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
BOSS’s Katana-100/212 Gen 3 is a 100W combo with two custom 12-inch speakers and a flexible set of amp, effects, and routing tools. Its six amp characters expand to 12 through Variation selections, including the Pushed option for edge-of-breakup territory. Five independent effects sections and eight Tone Settings let you build and recall complete sounds, while Power Control offers four output positions for practice, recording, or performance. Power Amp In, an effects loop, USB, line out, and Stereo Expand support a rig that can grow around the combo.
