Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
MiniFreak is a six-voice hybrid synthesizer built around two interacting sound engines, a modulation matrix, and polyphonic analog filtering. Its 37 velocity-sensitive keys provide direct performance control, while the 64-step sequencer and arpeggiator can add movement to a patch. Per-voice envelopes, LFOs, a cycling envelope, and randomization tools give sound-design sessions room to evolve. Stereo outputs and three digital-effects slots support finished sounds from the instrument, and the dedicated VST carries its dual-engine architecture into a DAW.
