01Does this fit a 14 inch snare?
It will physically fit a 14 inch snare, but it is built as a tom batter. Snare-specific heads are thinner in the center for better stick response and rimshot crack.
02Is one head enough for my whole kit?
No. This is a single 14 inch head. Buy one for each 14 inch drum you want to change.
03Clear or coated for toms?
Clear is brighter with more attack and longer decay. Coated is warmer and darker, and it is the only option if you play with brushes.
04Do I need the bottom head too?
Not to play. This replaces the batter side only. Resonant heads last far longer and usually only need changing if dented or torn.
