Independent shopping perspective
Built for acoustic playing and amplified performance, the AE44 pairs a selected spruce top with a mid-depth Lyrachord cutaway body. Scalloped, quartersawn X-bracing supports the top’s vibration, while the slim nato neck and ovangkol fingerboard give the playing surface a smooth feel. When amplification is part of the set, the CE304T preamp provides bass, midrange and treble adjustment plus an onboard tuner. The black satin finish, perloid dot markers and black-chrome diecast tuners complete the instrument.
