Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
For players who want an acoustic-electric in a super-shallow format, the AB28-5S combines a selected spruce top with a cutaway Lyrachord body. Scalloped, quartersawn X-bracing supports a balanced acoustic voice, and the slim nato neck uses a 10-inch-radius ovangkol fingerboard. The active CE304T preamp adds bass, midrange and treble controls alongside an onboard tuner; phase and notch filters are provided for feedback elimination during performance. Black satin finish, chrome diecast tuners and perloid details give it a defined visual finish.
Strong match
Who this is for
