ZildjianA Custom EFX Crash Cymbal 14 in.

The Zildjian A Custom EFX Crash Cymbal is an 18" cymbal that blends the smoothness of the renowned A Custom line with an aggressive, trashy bite. Specially crafted for live performers and recording artists, this innovative cymbal transitions from a shimmering crash to a raw, distorted bark with increasing intensity. Play lightly, and it blooms with a musical wash reminiscent of a traditional thin crash. Dig in, and the EFX Crash reveals its jagged, laser-cut edge for a ragged, overdriven sound. With a quick, dry ping perfect for accenting, this all-in-one effects cymbal delivers a dark, dramatic splash. Laser-Cut Holes Produce a Raw, Trashy Tone At the heart of the EFX Crash's versatile voice are strategically placed perforations cut into its brilliant bronze surface. These laser-generated "cut outs" allow the cymbal to produce a fast, dry, trashy tone ideal for punctuation and accents. Played hard, the cut outs become more pronounced, transforming the EFX Crash's tone from a traditional crash into a distorted, ragged bark. For drummers seeking a minimal setup, this innovative cymbal provides a range of sounds in a single instrument. A Custom Quality and Craftsmanship While the EFX Crash's sound is edgy and raw, its construction is anything but. Forged from B20 bronze, a premium alloy renowned for its musicality, the EFX Crash boasts the same meticulous craftsmanship found throughout Zildjian's prestigious A Custom line. Its brilliant finish and perfectly balanced weight give the EFX Crash a shimmering look and feel consistent with the A Custom series. Simply put, the EFX Crash offers attitude and A Custom excellence in equal measure. Find Your Voice Whether you're looking to punctuate a musical phrase, splash some attitude into a chorus, or completely transform your kit's voice at the crash of a stick, the Zildjian A Custom EFX Crash Cymbal delivers.
