01Will these fit my alto sax?
No. These are cut for tenor saxophone. Alto needs a shorter, narrower reed — the Vandoren SR21 alto boxes are the alto equivalent.
02Is strength 2 too soft for me?
If you are new to tenor or your embouchure tires quickly, 2 is a reasonable starting point. Established players usually sit at 2.5 or higher.
03How long does a reed last?
Depends on playing hours and care. Rotating between several reeds rather than playing one to death stretches the box considerably.
