02What is the difference between JAVA and JAVA Red?
JAVA Red has a thicker spine and heart, so it feels more resistant and sounds fuller. Standard JAVA is brighter and freer blowing.
03Can I use these on a tenor sax?
No. Alto reeds are smaller than tenor reeds and will not cover the tenor mouthpiece table, so they will leak air.
04How long does a reed last?
With a rotation of four or five reeds and regular playing, several weeks each. Heavy daily playing shortens that. Swap it when response goes dull or flat.
