No. These are soprano reeds. Soprano reeds are considerably smaller and will not seat correctly on an alto mouthpiece.

Unopened reeds keep for years if stored dry and out of extreme heat. What kills reeds is playing wear, chipping, and repeated wet-dry cycling once in use.
