Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Taylor’s Gold Label 514e pairs a Super Auditorium body with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, neo-tropical mahogany back and sides, and Fanned V-Class bracing. The result is described as a fuller, warmer and more rounded acoustic response, with clear mids and added low-end presence. Its LR Baggs Element VTC system keeps amplified operation straightforward through onboard volume and tone controls. For a player moving between acoustic parts and plugged-in work, it combines an expressive acoustic platform with practical stage control.
