Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Taylor’s 817e pairs a Grand Pacific body with a torrefied Sitka spruce top and Honduran rosewood back and sides for a rich acoustic voice: warm at the low end, with pronounced upper frequencies and a focused bass-and-midrange presentation. V-Class bracing is designed to add volume and sustain while improving intonation. Plug in through the LR Baggs Element VTC system, then make quick volume and tone adjustments for a live mix or recording setup. A deluxe hard shell case is provided.
