Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
A dreadnought cutaway acoustic-electric built with a solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides, the P7DC is positioned for warm, rich sound and strong projection. The Venetian cutaway gives players a clear route to the higher frets when a part calls for leads or higher voicings. Plug in and the CTP-3 CoolTube preamp provides bass, mid, and treble adjustment plus onboard tuning, so stage and studio signal shaping stays on the instrument.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Acoustic players needing a projected dreadnought sound for amplified stage or studio work.
- Lead lines and chord voicings that require access across the higher frets.
- Players who want onboard bass, mid, treble, and tuning controls.
