Independent shopping perspective
Synergy’s black IICP is a two-channel tube preamp module designed by Steve Fryette and fitted with two 12AX7 tubes. Its channels provide immediate access to Fullerton-inspired clean sounds and the module’s mid-saturated overdrive voice, moving between the two without changing modules. Brite and Shift controls are joined by a switchable five-band EQ, giving the player additional control over the module’s response. The design is aimed at capturing the core character of a much-discussed classic guitar amplifier in an all-tube module.
