Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Five-string StingRay bass with two ceramic humbuckers, individual pickup volume controls, and an active 3-band EQ. Select the neck or bridge pickup for different foundations, or combine them when a part calls for both. The 9-volt preamp gives the bass, midrange, and treble controls up to 12 dB of cut or boost, so there is room to refine its place in a mix. Individual bridge saddles provide adjustment for intonation and string height.
