Independent shopping perspective
The RAY34 is a 34-inch-scale StingRay bass centered on one alnico humbucker and a three-band active preamp. Dedicated low, mid and high controls make it possible to adjust the balance of those ranges directly on the bass, while the single-pickup layout keeps the signal path focused. A nato body pairs with a roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 21 medium frets and a 6-bolt neck joint. Open-gear tuners and a Sterling by Music Man-designed bridge complete the hardware.
