Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The RAY34 HH is a 34-inch-scale electric bass with two humbuckers, five-way switching, and a three-band active preamp. Separate bass, midrange, and treble controls let you make broad tonal adjustments from the instrument rather than relying on a single fixed pickup setting. A roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets, and fixed bridge complete the layout. It is a practical choice when rehearsal, recording, or live arrangements require more than one pickup combination.
Strong match

- Bass parts that need several pickup combinations available from a five-way selector.
- Live or rehearsal setups where bass, midrange, and treble need direct onboard adjustment.
- Players who prefer a 34-inch-scale bass with two humbuckers and a fixed bridge.
