Frequency contour
Pulling up the volume control activates it; two circuit-board trim pots set adjustable contour presets.

Independent shopping perspective
Built around active soapbar pickups and a three-band preamp, this Steve Bailey system gives a fretless bass a complete new pickup-and-control layout. Bass, mid, and treble controls handle the main EQ work, while pulling up the volume knob engages a frequency contour. Two internal trim pots let you set contour presets on the circuit board. The supplied pre-wired harness and mounting hardware keep the installation package together; allow space for four controls and battery power in the bass.
