Seymour DuncanSlash 3.0 Signature 4C Short-Leg Humbucker Pickup - Black Set

Welcome to the jungle—the Slash 3.0 is ready to roar. For nearly four decades, Slash has relied on Seymour Duncan to shape the unmistakable sound that defined a generation of rock. From the classic Appetite for Destruction-era warmth of the original Slash model to the stadium-ready power of the 2.0 set, his tonal journey has been a search for the perfect balance of grit and clarity. The Seymour Duncan Slash 3.0 signature humbucker pickup is the latest evolution of that pursuit, developed for Guns N’ Roses’ most demanding live performances. Engineered for increased output and sharper attack, the Slash 3.0 pickup lets you push your amp harder while remaining true to the transparent, honest character of your instrument. Rough-Cast Alnico V Magnets Deliver Power and Precision The Slash 3.0’s increased authority begins with rough-cast Alnico V magnets, selected for their ability to drive an amp harder without sacrificing articulation. The enhanced output adds punch and immediacy, tightening palm-muted passages and giving riffs greater impact. Leads cut with focused authority, while sustained notes retain clarity rather than collapsing into compression. Even under saturated gain, the pickup maintains strong note separation and preserves the natural voice of the guitar. Handbuilt Construction With Modern Versatility Every Slash 3.0 pickup is handbuilt in Santa Barbara using the same vintage-inspired construction that defines the series, including wood spacers and traditional appointments. Vacuum wax potting ensures squeal-free performance under high gain, keeping the signal controlled even at stage volume. This model features four-conductor wiring that supports modern switching setups, including coil splitting and advanced wiring options. Short mounting legs provide an easy drop-in fit for most humbucker-equipped guitars. The result is a pickup that blends old-school craftsmanship with modern performance demands—more output, more bite and the unmistakable clarity that defines Slash’s tone.
