It's built for the neck. In the bridge it will sound weaker and thinner than a bridge-wound pickup. Buy the bridge version instead.
02Will it fit my Strat?
Only if the guitar has a humbucker route at the neck. A standard single-coil Strat needs routing or a different pickup.
03Does it come with mounting hardware?
Plan on reusing your existing ring, screws and springs. Order those separately if yours are missing or stripped.
04Do I need to solder it in?
Yes. The lead wire has to be soldered to your volume pot and ground. A tech will typically do it in under an hour.
