02Will these fit my Strat?
Only if it has humbucker routing. A standard single-coil-routed Strat needs the body enlarged or a humbucker-sized pickguard with the right cavity.
03Can I install these myself?
Yes, if you can solder. It is a straightforward swap of four connections per pickup, but a bad joint causes hum or dead positions.
04Is the black version different sounding?
No. Bobbin color is cosmetic. Black, zebra and cream versions of the same model are electrically identical.
