The 30 has a .670-inch cup, deep bowl, wide rounded rim, and a 17 throat. The 30B is slightly narrower at .666 inch with a shallower B cup, thin flat rim, and a larger .182 throat.

The playing dimensions are identical to the silver 30. You are paying for the plating and its feel on the lip, not for a different cup, rim, or throat.
