Schecter Guitar ResearchSynyster Gates Standard Plus Electric Guitar - Gloss Natural

Sinister by design and relentless in execution, the Schecter Synyster Gates Standard Plus electric guitar looks as bold as it sounds. From its quilted maple top traced with bold black pinstripes to the unmistakable Deathbat and Gothic Crosses inlays stalking the ebony fingerboard, this instrument announces its intent before a single note rings out. A mahogany body lays down a thick, resonant foundation, while the ultra-thin C-shaped three-piece neck is built for speed, precision, and total control. Driven by the Avenged Sevenfold guitarist's signature humbuckers and anchored by a Floyd Rose locking tremolo, the Synyster Gates Standard Plus is engineered for high-gain authority and fearless lead work. Signature Humbuckers Deliver Focused Aggression and Clarity A matched set of Schecter Synyster Gates Signature humbuckers defines the voice of the Standard Plus. Tuned for tight low end, cutting mids and searing highs, these pickups stay articulate under extreme gain, preserving note definition during fast alternate-picked runs and dense chord voicings. Satin black bobbins reinforce the guitar’s dark aesthetic, while the high-output design ensures every riff and lead punches through the mix with uncompromising force. Ultra-Thin Neck and Ebony Fingerboard Enable Technical Freedom The three-piece mahogany neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods to resist warping and flex during aggressive playing and frequent travel. Its ultra-thin C profile pairs with a 16" radius ebony fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets, creating a fast, fluid surface for wide bends, tapping and intricate lead phrasing. Plus, the slick ebony feel and precision fretwork support advanced techniques, and the fingerboard’s visual layout keeps navigation intuitive at high speed. Floyd Rose Tremolo and Coil-Split Controls Expand Expression A Floyd Rose Special Hot Rod Series locking tremolo anchors the bridge, delivering rock-solid tuning stability through divebombs, squeals and aggressive vibrato. A locking nut and Grover tuners reinforce pitch control, while push/pull coil-splitting on the master tone unlocks sharper, single-coil-inspired textures when needed. A three-way toggle switch keeps pickup selection immediate, supporting rapid tonal shifts between crushing rhythm parts and cutting leads. An Electric Guitar Built for Stage and Engineered for Longevity The Synyster Gates Standard Plus' combination of mahogany construction, quilted maple top and black binding creates a durable platform designed to withstand touring and repeated high-energy performances. Hardware is selected for long-term reliability, and structural reinforcements help the neck remain stable under changing conditions. Every component is chosen to perform consistently night after night without compromise. Schecter Synyster Gates Standard Plus Commands Precision and Presence A defining force behind modern metal guitar, Synyster Gates is known for his blistering alternate picking, fluid legato lines and dramatic vibrato as the lead guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold. Appropriately, the Synyster Gates Standard Plus rewards speed, precision and confidence. Its fast neck, aggressive pickups, expressive tremolo system and signature Deathbat and Gothic Crosses inlays combine to create an instrument that is as visually intimidating as it is sonically powerful. Make no mistake, this is not a guitar that blends in—it’s a deliberate statement for players who expect their instrument to keep up when the stakes are highest.
