Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Designed around high-gain riffing and lead work, the right-handed Omen Elite-6 FR combines two Schecter Heretic humbuckers with a five-way selector for multiple pickup settings. Its Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo is built to return to pitch after dives, squeals, and warbles. The thin C maple neck, 25.5-inch scale, and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard provide the fast, smooth playing surface described for solos and complex chord work. A mahogany body and figured poplar burl top complete the charcoal-finished build.
Strong match
Who this is for
- High-gain riffing, solo passages, and complex chord work with Heretic humbucker voicings.
- Whammy-bar parts using dive bombs, squeals, and warbles.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who need a fixed bridge rather than a Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo.
